Eric is the Founder and President of Vision Wealth Strategies LLC, a privately held independent financial services firm based in Westborough, MA. His 20 plus years of experience have led him to develop a company focused on a unique team approach of proactively servicing clients’ most basic and sophisticated financial needs. Eric’s vision has led to a purpose of helping individuals, families and businesses crystallize their vision, optimize their wealth and live a life of prosperity.
Eric has strategically aligned the firm with some of the strongest professional resources in the financial services industry in an effort to provide the firm’s clients with access to a robust team and services. He is a Lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table and associated with numerous other industry groups.
Eric and his team focus their efforts on proactive wealth planning with an emphasis on retirement planning, estate/distribution planning, risk management, asset/portfolio management, business succession planning and employee/executive benefits.
Beyond Eric’s passion of building his company, he strives to live a balanced life encompassing his relationship with his wife Ashley and daughter Grace, friends, health and giving back to the community. The values that reflect his personality are that of trust, compassion and integrity. He resides in Arlington, MA, and actively participates in the sport of CrossFit. He enjoys staying active hiking, biking, playing soccer and golf, and continues to challenge himself by doing challenging hikes and competing in races.
James is an Associate Financial Advisor with Vision Wealth Strategies. He earned his Master of Science in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and has worked in the financial industry since 2016. James’ experience, attention to detail, and customer service skills makes him a great resource for our clients in developing and implementing their wealth plans. James loves collaborating with clients and receives immense satisfaction knowing the contributions he makes in helping them attain their life goals.
James and his wife Jennifer live in Taunton, MA with his stepson Tyler, their daughter Hailey and their two dogs Bain and Harvey. James lives an active lifestyle and loves being outdoors. He is part of a cycling club and routinely rides over 3,000 miles each year through southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. James also enjoys being on the water in Cape Cod fishing for bluefish and striped bass, weightlifting and golf.
Cheri is the Director of Operations at Vision Wealth Strategies. She has been with the company since January 2014. She helps ensure that the day-to-day tasks run smoothly. She is responsible for handling all the client’s plans both internally and externally. She works with our entire team to help provide our clients with the highest level of service and communication.
In addition, Cheri provides dynamic cross-functional support with our resources and helps ensure that compliance procedures are being implemented. Her strengths consist of being detailed oriented, exceptionally organized, and has strong interpersonal and administrative skills. She is goal driven; always seeking opportunity to make positive changes. She is also able to manage multiple secretarial projects simultaneously. Cheri has her Life and Health Insurance License and is a Notary Public for the state of Massachusetts. She graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH.
Cheri resides in Framingham, MA with her husband Mark, son Zachary and cat Neko. In her free time, she enjoys working out at CrossFit, snowboarding, and running. In 2018 she ran her first marathon in Newport, RI. Spending time with family and friends is very important to Cheri. She grew up with 5 older brothers and loves seeing Zachary develop a strong relationship with his extended family. She also enjoys traveling and went on her honeymoon to Bali and Hong Kong. She has lived in Australia and was a 2nd grade teacher in China after she graduated College. She hopes to continue to explore different cultures in the future.
Cheri’s attention to detail and love for people is a foundation in her effort to provide an exceptional client experience here at Vision Wealth Strategies, LLC.
Meaghan came on board to the Vision Wealth Strategies team in May 2020. Meaghan is Eric and Ashley’s Sister-in-Law and enjoys being a part of a family business. Meaghan is enthusiastic, personable, and very detail oriented. Meaghan’s role in the company includes organizing documents in our paperless system, preparing applications, scheduling appointments and obtaining the upmost confidentiality for all clients. Prior to accepting a job offer at VWS, Meaghan held a management position for almost a decade.
Originally from NH, Meaghan now lives in Worcester with her husband Adam and their extremely energetic Boston Terrier Sonny. Meaghan has a zest for life and a big personality to compliment her always upbeat self. She has always had a passion for giving back to and helping others. She primarily focuses a lot of her time on a non-profit she started with a group of friends over dinner one night. They work with and contribute to the Friendly House in Worcester. An organization that helps woman and children get back on their feet after hard times, among many other services for the community.
Meaghan is one of six children, and this makes family one of the most important things to her. Her nieces and nephew have stolen her heart. When she is not spending time with family, she enjoys going on hikes with her dog, traveling with friends, using her creativity to craft, exploring new places, and taking Sunday drives with her husband.
John’s background brings a different dimension to our organization. His family lifestyle, business knowledge, financial understanding, tax background and life experience gives him a broad perspective when helping to serve our clients.
John has six children and understands many of the financial issues of raising a family and the cost of higher education.
In 1971 he graduated from WPI with a mechanical engineering degree. He did his military service in the 1970’s and attained the rank of Captain. For 25 years he worked at UPS. His involvement heading up multiple departments and participating in special projects helped UPS to grow from a six state start-up operation to a multinational corporation.
John has also been a business owner. He has owned and operated two Country Inns which included restaurants. He has firsthand experience with the challenges of running, staffing, managing and the regulatory burden of a small business.
John has acted as a business consultant for a Fortune 100 company. In 2007 he joined Vision Wealth Strategies LLC and holds the position of COO in our firm.
He brings his real world experience to our financial client relationships and enhances our organization with his management skills.
Ashley is the Project Manager for Vision Wealth Strategies. She provides day-to-day communication with the team and applies her expert knowledge, experience, and energy to solving company matters. She assists in managing the team’s workflow and has the ability to implement changes necessary for successful completion of projects. She has the ability to work effectively with the staff and listen to their ideas. She works with our company part time and has also been a nurse for 12 years. She advanced her career as a nurse practitioner 5 years ago. She works at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington in cardiac electrophysiology.
Ashely grew up working for her family business since the age of 10 so it was only natural to become a part of the VWS team. In addition to these professional roles, her favorite job of all is being a mom to her and Eric’s beloved daughter Grace. Her favorite things include quality family time, running, hiking, enjoying nature and always trying to live a healthy, balanced life.
